Not a writer, but it helps me when I do. When my thoughts are jumbled and swirling in my mind I imagine they look at lot like the patterns in my blog page. So once I write about my thoughts, I feel better.
I’m the partner to a fabulous man called Anthony. He is the glue that holds this family together. We are the parents of two boys who are 10 and nearly 8. They wrestle, they make lots of noise, they are loving, they are crazy and they drive me mad. But most of all they force me to lead a purposeful life. They remind me that basically, aside from food, water and air, all we need is to feel like we belong…that we’re safe.
I love – in no particular order – chocolate (seriously, whoever doesn’t is weird), very strong English Breakfast tea, my dear friends, football, Collingwood Football Club, watching sport, taking photos, running (mostly), living in Melbourne, road trips and harmony. Definitely harmony. That harmony is gained between the hours of 9.01am and 3.30pm weekdays. Then after 9pm at night. Except for the 13 weeks of school holidays.
I’m a virtual PA and I work from home. I’m disciplined when working and can leave the house in a mess. I love what I do but I have a dream to help first time mums with anxiety, PND and the transition to motherhood.
Hope you get something out of my swirly thoughts…
